1. About us
This website is operated by D2 Joinery & Construction LTD, a UK limited company registered with Companies House (#15212735), trading from Seymour Chambers, 92 London Rd, Liverpool L3 5NW.
2. Use of this website
The content of this site is for general information about our services. Specifications, pricing examples and timescales mentioned are indicative — a binding quotation is only issued in writing following a site survey.
3. Quotations and contracts
Written quotations are valid for 30 days from issue. A signed acceptance of the quotation (or written confirmation by email) together with any agreed deposit constitutes the contract between you and us. Variations to scope must be agreed in writing and may affect the price and programme.
4. Payments
A fixed quote is agreed up front and set out in your quotation. Final payment falls due on completion and customer sign-off. Late payment may attract statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 where applicable.
5. Workmanship guarantee
We provide a 12-month workmanship guarantee from the date of practical completion on labour we have carried out. Manufacturer warranties on materials are passed through in full. The guarantee does not cover fair wear and tear, damage caused by misuse, third-party alterations or acts beyond our control.
6. Fire door compliance
Fire door installations are carried out to FireQual standards by qualified installers. Compliance documentation is issued on completion. Ongoing inspection and maintenance obligations under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 remain the responsibility of the building owner / responsible person.
7. Liability
We carry full public liability insurance. Our total liability under any contract is limited to the contract value, except where liability cannot lawfully be limited (including death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
8. Cancellation rights
Where the contract is made off-premises, consumers have a 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you ask us to begin work within that period, you may be charged for work completed up to the point of cancellation.
9. Governing law
These terms and any contract between us are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
